The war in Ukraine

The ground is shaking, the sirens howling,

Is this the bad dream only,

That great fear, threat and panic

Or the last war`s  memory.

The enemy demanding power and blood

Invaded a peaceful land,

Nobody expected that horror,

The sensless war in the end.

Tears in eyes, a heart is breaking,

Seeing that exterminatiom,

And all those people, who in great panic

Are looking for place of salvation.

Children are crying, they don`t  know why,

In the shelters they must hide,

Where there is dark, and terrible cold,

They still ask mothers, why?

They want to go home, where they were safe,

But somebody ruined their place,

Ruined their world, their happiness,

Burned their homes, their land.

O, great and mighty God, 

Now we all pray for peace,

When war`s  hurricanes terrible blow,

With hope we pray on knees.
